As a little girl growing up in Illinois, I would get married every Saturday night. The comforter would come off my bed and be folded in half to become the skirt of my ballgown. The window sheers would come down and be threaded on a pink headband that would become my veil. The artificial flowers hanging in the plastic basket were arranged into my bouquet. No bridal outfit would be complete without something borrowed so I would have to use a pair of my sisters high heels.
The walk down the aisle was perfectly timed to a select piece of classical music. Who my groom was didn’t matter! Afterwards, I would receive my invisible guests and then proceeded to the reception.
My reception would have a decorated Little Tykes head table complete with plastic tableware. I would do my first and last dance accompanied by a power ballad taped from the local radio station. And everything would be back on the bed, windows, and walls just in time for me to go to bed. Weddings filled my dreams.
Fast forward to 2000, those dreams became a reality when I was able to plan my sister’s wedding. Since then I have enjoyed bringing other couples’ visions to life. I work carefully with my clients throughout the process to deliver each event on-budget, on-time and on-vision. As I have continued to perfect my craft, I have expanded my expertise to include other event categories such as non-profit and corporate events. I am ready to make your unique vision come true for ANY type of event whether you are celebrating a wedding, milestone, social gathering, non-profit fundraiser or corporate event.

behind the events
My parents were married for 43 years. During that time, our family and friends celebrated many special occasions. Some were grand and lavish while others were intimate and sometimes even somber. My parents passed on to me that no matter where you are or what is happening in your life, there is always something to celebrate.
I would be honored to help you and your family celebrate all of life’s moments and help you build your own traditions.
